There are so many benefits of lemon ginger tea, probably too many to list all of them here but I shall do my best.

Lemon and ginger tea is basically a fusion of the two elements.  They are a great combo should you choose to drink it early in the mornings.

 

HERE’S HOW TO MAKE LEMON GINGER TEA:

 

1. Put some drinking water into a saucepan to boil.

2. Peel and dice the ginger root into small sections.

3. Once the water is boiling add the sections of ginger to it.

4. Let the water slowly simmer to allow the ginger to infuse the water.  Do this for roughly 15 minutes.

5.  Add some freshly squeezed lemon juice to the mixture and leave to boil for a further few minutes.

6. Once ready pour into the mug for drinking.

* Some people find the ginger taste too strong so add a little honey.  You can do this if you want too but it really is not necessary.

This recipe is great for colds, its one my mother used to make and its one that I use for my children also.  You can up the potency if you prefer it to be stronger by adding more ginger and lemon.
